Terms of Service

Effective June 10, 2026 · Applies to all visitors, account holders, and recipients of any RingsToday service or communication.

1. Acceptance of these Terms

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the RingsToday website, mobile experience, and private diamond concierge service (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account, beginning a collection, sending an iMessage to the concierge, or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Refund Policy, the SMS & iMessage Terms, and every other policy linked from /legal.

If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

The Service is intended for adults purchasing engagement, wedding, or commemorative jewelry for themselves or another adult recipient. You represent that you are at least 18 years old, can form a binding contract, and are not barred from receiving services under applicable law. We do not knowingly serve minors and will terminate any account that we learn belongs to a minor.

3. What the Service is — and is not

RingsToday is a private, by-appointment concierge that helps you assemble a small set of curated diamond and setting options, send a single private link to your intended recipient, and have the chosen ring atelier-set and shipped insured. Catalog items, pairings, prices, and lead times are descriptive starting points; they are not offers and may change at any time before order acceptance.

The Service is not a brokerage, an investment vehicle, an appraisal service, or a financial product. Any value figures shown are retail-replacement estimates only.

4. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login, for any activity under your account, and for keeping your contact information current. We use Clerk for authentication. Notify the concierge immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

5. Pricing, quotes, and order acceptance

  • Catalog prices are listed in U.S. dollars and exclude shipping, taxes, and any duties for ship-to addresses outside the contiguous United States.
  • A concierge quote, including totals, lead time, and the assigned IGI report numbers, is presented before checkout. The quote is valid for 7 days.
  • Your placement of an order is an offer to buy. We accept the offer when we send a written order confirmation that names the specific stone(s) and setting(s) and confirms the price and lead time. Until that confirmation is sent, no contract has formed and we may decline or modify the order.
  • If the IGI-graded stone you selected becomes unavailable between quote and acceptance, we will offer an equivalent or better-graded substitute, or a full refund of any deposit.
  • Typographical, photographic, or grading-inheritance errors may cause a price or specification to be wrong. We may correct them at any time before order acceptance.

6. Payment

Payment in full is required before fabrication begins, unless a written deposit-and-balance arrangement has been agreed in writing. We use third-party payment processors and never store full card numbers on our systems.

7. Shipping, title, and risk of loss

Shipping terms are set out in the Shipping & Insurance Policy. Title and risk of loss pass to you on delivery to the shipping address you provided, unless the courier confirms a delivery failure that is our fault. All deliveries require an adult signature.

8. Returns, refunds, and exchanges

Refunds are governed by the Refund Policy, including the 30-day return window, the 20% restocking fee on eligible returns, and the no-fee path for damaged or stone-mismatch arrivals.

9. Warranty and aftercare

Manufacturing-defect warranty, lifetime cleaning, free single resize, and the relationship to separate jewelry-loss insurance are covered in the Warranty & Aftercare Policy. Except as expressly stated there, the Service is provided “as is” and we disclaim all other warranties to the fullest extent allowed by law, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

10. Intellectual property

All site content — text, photography, illustrations, graders’ report renderings, software, and the RingsToday marks — is owned by RingsToday or its licensors and is protected by U.S. and international copyright and trademark law. You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial reference. You may not scrape, mirror, retrain a model on, or commercially redistribute the content without prior written permission.

11. User-submitted content

When you upload a photo, share inspiration, or send a message to the concierge, you grant RingsToday a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use that content for the limited purpose of fulfilling your collection, training internal curators, and improving the Service. You retain ownership.

You represent that you have the right to share whatever you upload, that it does not infringe a third party’s rights, and that it does not contain unlawful or harmful material.

12. AI assistance

Portions of the Service use AI to assist the human concierge — stone matching, draft language, and similar tasks. AI never decides pricing, grading, refund eligibility, or whether to ship your ring. See the AI Usage Disclosure for the details and for how to request a human-only path.

13. SMS and iMessage

Messaging is a core part of the Service. By giving us your phone number and confirming the opt-in, you agree to the SMS & iMessage Terms, including the program description, message frequency, the HELP/STOP keywords, and the carrier disclaimers.

14. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to harass another person, including the recipient of a shared collection link.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or the underlying systems.
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or build a competing service from the Service’s catalog or content.
  • Submit false identity or payment information.
  • Use the Service for money laundering, sanctions evasion, or any other unlawful purpose.

We may suspend or terminate access for violations and refer serious violations to law enforcement.

15. Disclaimer of warranties

Except for the express warranties in the Warranty & Aftercare Policy, the Service and all content are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that any specific result will be obtained.

16. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RingsToday and its officers, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost goodwill, lost data, or substitute-goods costs, arising out of or related to the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Service or these Terms will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid RingsToday in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100). Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits; in those jurisdictions our liability is limited to the smallest amount permitted by law.

17. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RingsToday from any third-party claim arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or content you submit.

18. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, Utah County, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The federal and state courts located in Utah County, Utah will have exclusive jurisdiction for any dispute that is not subject to arbitration.

Arbitration agreement. Except for small-claims matters, intellectual-property claims, and equitable relief, any dispute arising out of or related to the Service or these Terms will be resolved by final, binding, individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. The arbitration will be conducted in Utah County, Utah, in English. You and RingsToday waive any right to a jury trial and to participate in a class, collective, or representative action. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing concierge@ringstoday.com within 30 days of first accepting these Terms.

19. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Effective” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent meaningful change. We will give reasonable advance notice of material changes by email and an in-app banner. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of a change constitutes acceptance.

20. Trade-data confidentiality (JBT and equivalents)

RingsToday is a Retail Member of The Jewelers Board of Trade (JBT). Credit reports, ratings, trade payment data, the JBT Reference Book, RatingWatch reports, and any other information we receive from JBT or an equivalent industry credit-rating body are supplied to us in confidence under JBT Bylaws Article V §§3 and 8.

You agree that:

  • We will not share, resell, republish, redistribute, or otherwise disclose JBT-sourced data to you, to any other customer, or to any third party, except in response to legal process. This is a contractual obligation we owe to JBT.
  • Nothing on this site, in a concierge message, in a quote, or on an order confirmation conveys, summarizes, or implies the contents of a JBT credit report on any specific vendor.
  • Our Vendor Vetting Policy and Industry Memberships page describe our use of JBT membership at the procedural level only and do not republish JBT data.

21. Miscellaneous

  • Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the policies linked above, are the entire agreement between you and RingsToday regarding the Service.
  • Severability. If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in full force.
  • No waiver. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of that right.
  • Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign them, including to a successor in connection with a merger or sale.
  • Force majeure. We are not liable for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
