Shipping & Insurance

Effective June 10, 2026 · Applies to all visitors, account holders, and recipients of any RingsToday service or communication.

1. Who we ship to

RingsToday ships to physical addresses in the 50 United States, the District of Columbia, and U.S. military APO/FPO addresses. International shipping is by quote only and may be declined for sanctioned destinations or restricted commodities. We do not ship to freight forwarders.

2. Lead time

  • Catalog rings, in-stock setting + IGI-on-hand stone: 7–10 business days from order acceptance to shipment.
  • Catalog rings, IGI stone sourced to order: 14–21 business days.
  • Custom or hand-built mountings: 21–35 business days; the concierge confirms the specific build window in writing on order acceptance.
  • Resize during fabrication: Adds 0–3 business days within the standard half-size range.

Carrier transit time is in addition to fabrication. We plan collections to land before the recipient’s known milestone date when you share one with the concierge.

3. Carrier and packaging

Domestic finished rings ship via FedEx Priority Overnight or USPS Registered Mail / Priority Mail Express, depending on the destination, the insured value, and the carrier’s jewelry-handling rules. Loose stones ship the same way.

Packages ship in a discreet outer carton with no jeweler markings, and an inner presentation box with a tamper-evident security tag. The shipping label uses the RingsToday fulfillment name without any wording that signals the contents.

4. Adult signature required

Every ring or loose-stone shipment requires an adult signature (21+ where the carrier offers that option, otherwise 18+). The carrier will not leave the package unattended. If no one can sign, the carrier will attempt redelivery; after a small number of failed attempts the package returns to our atelier and a redelivery fee may apply.

5. Insurance in transit

Every shipment is insured for its full declared value while it is in the carrier’s custody. The insurance covers loss, theft, and damage between the time the carrier scans the package out of our atelier and the time the courier obtains a recorded signature at delivery.

The insurance does not cover loss or damage after the recipient signs for the package. From that moment, risk of loss is yours, which is why we strongly recommend you bind separate jewelry insurance to take effect on the date of delivery (see the Warranty & Aftercare Policy).

6. Title and risk of loss

Title and risk of loss pass to you when the carrier obtains the adult signature at the address you provided. Refusing a delivery does not transfer risk; the package returns to us at our cost, except where the refusal was used to evade the shipping address you authorized.

7. Address accuracy and corrections

You are responsible for the address you give us. A typo or an incorrect unit number that causes a misdelivery is not covered by carrier insurance. Mid-transit address changes are limited by the carrier; ask the concierge as early as possible and we will attempt the change.

8. Damage, missed delivery, and theft

  • Visible damage at the door: refuse the package if you can. The carrier returns it and we begin the insurance claim immediately. If you accepted, see the “damaged on arrival” section of the Refund Policy and email us within 48 hours.
  • Carrier shows delivered, package missing: contact the concierge within 24 hours of the false-positive scan. We will open a carrier search and either replace or refund per the insurance outcome.
  • Theft after signed delivery: file with your jewelry insurer and your local police department. We will provide the order record needed for the claim.

9. Sales tax, duties, and fees

Sales tax is calculated at checkout where applicable. For the rare international quote, you are responsible for any import duties, brokerage fees, or VAT levied at the destination. We will not under-declare value to reduce duties.
