SMS & iMessage Terms
Effective June 10, 2026 · Applies to all visitors, account holders, and recipients of any RingsToday service or communication.
1. Program description
The RingsToday concierge messaging program sends and receives messages over Apple iMessage and SMS using Loop Message as our messaging provider. Messages are limited to:
- Concierge replies in an active thread with you about a collection, a stone, a setting, or an order.
- Order milestones (deposit received, fabrication started, IGI report attached, shipped, delivered).
- Delivery exception alerts (signature missed, address correction needed).
- Replies to your inbound questions.
- Optional concierge updates and offers, sent only if you opted in to marketing.
1a. Automated text-alerts program
Separately from the one-to-one concierge thread, RingsToday operates an automated text-alerts program that sends and receives messages from our toll-free number (877) 401-7464. You opt in to this program from our Text Alerts page (or another RingsToday form that displays the same consent notice). This is a transactional account-notifications program limited to the following message types:
- Order confirmations & status updates — a confirmation when you place an order and updates as it moves through production and shipping, each with a link to your live order tracker.
- Appointment confirmations — confirmations and reminders for consultations you schedule with us.
- Sign-in verification codes — one-time passcodes you request to verify your identity when signing in.
Consent to receive these texts is not a condition of any purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help at any time (see section 5).
2. How you consent
You consent to receive messages by entering your mobile phone number into a RingsToday form, checkbox, or concierge intake flow that displays a notice substantially in this form:
By providing your phone number, you agree to receive transactional and concierge messages from RingsToday at the number provided. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply HELP for help or STOP to unsubscribe. See our SMS Terms and Privacy Policy.
For the automated text-alerts program (section 1a), you opt in on the Text Alerts page by entering your mobile number and affirmatively checking the consent box — it is never pre-checked, and consent is not a condition of any purchase.
Marketing messages require a separate, dedicated opt-in confirmation. Transactional messages tied to an order or active concierge thread do not.
3. Message frequency
Frequency varies. A typical collection generates 5 to 25 concierge messages over its life; an active marketing opt-in adds no more than 4 messages per month.
4. Cost
RingsToday does not charge you for the messages it sends or receives. Your wireless carrier may charge you for messages according to your plan. Message and data rates may apply. Check with your carrier if you are unsure of your plan’s message-and-data terms.
5. Help and stop keywords
- HELP — reply HELP at any time and we will respond with the program name, a link to these terms, and the concierge contact.
- STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, QUIT — reply any of these at any time to opt out. We will send a single confirmation message and then stop.
- You can also opt out by emailing sms@ringstoday.com with your phone number.
- Opting out of marketing messages does not opt you out of transactional messages tied to an active order. Reply STOP again on a transactional thread to opt out of that thread, or contact the concierge to close the thread.
6. Opt-in confirmation
When you first opt in, we send a single confirmation message identifying the program, restating frequency, restating that message and data rates may apply, and giving HELP and STOP instructions. If you do not respond to the confirmation, we will not enroll you in marketing.
7. Carrier disclaimer
Wireless carriers (including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, US Cellular, and others) are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message availability depends on your device, carrier, and signal. Loop Message and Apple iMessage routing may convert messages to SMS where iMessage is unavailable.
8. iMessage specifics
When your number is registered with Apple iMessage, our concierge messages will arrive as blue-bubble iMessage rather than green-bubble SMS. iMessage supports inline reactions, read receipts (if you enable them), and richer media. We use these to improve the concierge experience and to time follow-ups appropriately.
We do not send messages from your personal Apple ID. The concierge sender is the RingsToday business identity registered with Loop Message and approved by Apple Business Chat / Loop’s sender service.
9. What we do with the message data
The content of your messages, your phone number, and the message metadata (timestamps, delivery status, replies) are processed by Loop Message under their privacy terms and by RingsToday as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not share your phone number with third parties for their marketing.
We retain message threads for up to 24 months after the last message, longer if a dispute or tax record-keeping requirement applies.
10. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and the registered user or authorized account holder of the mobile number you provide. By providing the number you represent that you have authority to receive messages on it.
11. Changes to the program
We may modify or terminate the messaging program at any time without notice. We will give 14 days’ notice of material changes to these SMS & iMessage Terms by email and an in-app banner.
